This is a creation made from the Mary Hoyer collection of fabrics, originally from the Berkshire Knitting Mills where Mr. William Hoyer was the chief purchasing agent for 25 years. " Billy" as Mary called him, would often bring home fabric bolt ends which Mary Hoyer used to create her beautiful fashions. Lace, from Fairy Silk, the Reading lace and trim company from the 1940's, accent the sleeves of this beautiful gown.
